Tidelist features for WooCommerce and OLX

Updated

Tidelist is a WordPress plugin that lists your WooCommerce products on OLX and keeps the adverts in step with your shop. When an item sells out, its advert comes down. You decide what goes online and when.

Everything stays under your control

  • Preview shows the exact data that would be sent and lists what is still missing.
  • Typed confirmation. To publish, you type PUBLISH. A batch holds at most 30 adverts and goes out one at a time, with a pause between adverts.
  • No purchases. If OLX asks for a payment, Tidelist stops and tells you. It never buys anything.
  • No deleting. Takedown deactivates an advert. It can be activated again.

From your shop to OLX

  • Your own OLX app. You register a developer app in your OLX account, so the adverts stay in your account and under your limits.
  • Category mapping. Say which OLX category each of your shop categories belongs to. Tidelist suggests matches and shows only the categories where OLX accepts adverts.
  • Attribute mapping. OLX asks for details such as condition, size and colour. For each, you choose where the value comes from: a product field, a product attribute, a fixed value, or “ask me for each product”. Values from your shop are matched to OLX’s own lists.
  • Templates. Titles and descriptions are built from templates you can edit. E-mail addresses, web addresses and phone numbers are removed from the advert text, because OLX does not allow them there.
  • Photos. You can leave photos out per product. Photos in a format OLX does not accept are converted to JPG copies.
  • Variable products. Each variation becomes its own advert, with its own size and colour.

After publishing

  • Takedown. When a product is out of stock, unpublished, trashed or deleted, its advert is taken down. You can list it again from the Listings screen.
  • Status checks. Tidelist reads the status of your adverts from OLX every six hours: live, being checked, waiting for payment, limited or expired. Problems are shown in one place.
  • Find existing adverts. Adverts that already exist on your OLX account are found and linked, so nothing is published twice.
  • Update now. Change a price or a photo in your shop, then press Update now on the Listings screen.

Diagnostics

  • A log of every call to OLX and every blocked or simulated request. Secrets are never logged.
  • Site Health checks for background jobs, WP-Cron, HTTPS and photo conversion.
  • A first-run guide that leads you through the first steps.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tidelist publish my whole catalogue by itself?

No. Nothing is published until you pick products, check the preview and confirm a batch by typing PUBLISH. Dry-run is on when you install the plugin.

Which OLX countries does it work with?

Bulgaria is tested with a real account. Poland, Romania, Portugal, Ukraine and Kazakhstan use the same OLX API and are marked beta.

Does it change my WooCommerce prices?

No. Prices in WooCommerce are never changed. Any price rule only changes the price in the OLX advert.

  • WooCommerce to OLX integration

Tidelist connects a WooCommerce shop to OLX in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Portugal, Ukraine and Kazakhstan with your own OLX developer app. Free plugin.
