Tidelist

Documentation

Guides for setting up Tidelist and using it every day.

Get started

  • Getting started with Tidelist and OLX

Install Tidelist, follow the first-run guide, connect OLX, map categories, preview a few products and publish a small first batch with dry-run on.

  • Connect your OLX account

Register your own OLX developer app, enter the redirect address and scopes, paste the Client ID and Secret into Tidelist, and connect your OLX account.

  • Safety, dry-run and pause

How Tidelist protects your OLX account: dry-run on by default, a pause switch, typed confirmation, a request allow-list and encrypted credentials.

Mapping

  • Map your categories to OLX

Choose the OLX category for each WooCommerce category, use the suggestions, and understand why OLX only takes adverts in the last level of its category tree.

  • Map product attributes to OLX fields

OLX asks for fields such as condition, size and colour. Choose where each value comes from and match your shop's values to OLX's own lists.

Publishing

  • Preview and publish adverts

Check the exact data that would be sent, choose photos, select products and publish a batch of up to 30 adverts by typing PUBLISH. Cancel a running batch.

Sync

  • Sync, takedown and re-listing

How Tidelist keeps OLX in step with your shop: automatic takedown when stock runs out, status checks every six hours, updating adverts and listing again.

Tidelist Pro

  • Tidelist Pro licence and updates

Activate a Tidelist Pro key, move it to another site, understand what happens when it expires, and get updates from the normal WordPress update screen.

Help

  • Troubleshooting Tidelist: common fixes

Fixes for the most common problems: background jobs not running, photos not converting, adverts waiting for payment or limited, category and attribute errors.

For developers

  • Hooks for developers

The filters and actions that extend Tidelist: pro activation, price, listing, templates, measurements, admin tabs and the hourly tick. Stable from version 1.0.

  • Changelog of Tidelist and Tidelist Pro

What changed in each version of Tidelist and Tidelist Pro: new features, fixes and notes on upgrading. The newest version is at the top of the list.
