Preview and publish adverts

Publishing sends the adverts you chose to OLX. It is always a decision you take, and you confirm it by typing a word.
Open the Listings screen
Every simple product and variation of your shop is listed with its status on OLX.
Open the preview
The preview shows the exact data that would be sent and lists what is still missing.
Select products
Tick the products and choose Select for publishing. Nothing is sent yet.
Publish
Choose Publish selected, type PUBLISH in the box and press Apply. Adverts go out one by one in the background.
What does the preview show?
The preview shows the exact data that would be sent to OLX: title, description, price, photos, category, attributes, contact and city. It also lists errors that stop publishing and warnings you should read, for example a missing price, a required field without a value or a photo that cannot be converted.
Photos
You can untick photos for a product. A photo in a format OLX does not accept, such as .webp, is converted to a JPG copy. The copy must be downloadable by OLX, so on a staging site such an advert cannot be published until the plugin runs on the live site.
The batch
- At most 30 adverts per batch, one at a time with a pause between them.
- If another batch is running, wait for it or cancel it first.
- If OLX asks for a payment, the batch stops. Tidelist never pays.
- You can cancel a running batch. Adverts already sent stay on OLX.
Dry-run
While dry-run is on, the batch is built and logged but nothing is sent. The Listings screen says so.
Found an advert that is already on OLX?
Use Find adverts already on OLX. Tidelist links adverts that carry your product IDs, so nothing is published twice.
