Sync, takedown and re-listing
Updated
After publishing, Tidelist watches your products and your adverts and keeps them in step.
When is an advert taken down?
An advert is taken down when its product is out of stock, no longer published, moved to the trash or deleted, or when a variation or its parent product disappears. Takedown deactivates the advert on OLX; it never deletes it. You can list the advert again from the Listings screen.
Status checks
Every six hours Tidelist reads the status of your adverts from OLX. A status is one of: live, being checked, waiting for payment, limited, inactive or removed. You can also check on demand with Check the status of all adverts.
Changing a price or a photo
Change the product in your shop, then press Update now on the Listings screen. Tidelist updates the advert only when something the advert contains has changed.
Automatic updates and re-listing
Updating adverts by themselves and listing a restocked item again without a click are Pro features. See Tidelist Pro licence. The free plugin does both with one click.
What a sold-out item does
An item that sells out has its advert taken down within about an hour. The check runs when stock changes and in an hourly sweep.
Frequently asked questions
Does takedown delete the advert?
No. Takedown deactivates the advert. It stays in your OLX account and can be listed again when the product is back in stock.
